Privacy Policy

How NYR handles personal information associated with its website, business communications, and services.

NYR builds infrastructure for distributed AI. This policy explains the categories of personal information that may be involved in operating the website and business, why that information may be used, and the choices available to individuals.

Scope

This policy describes how NYR handles personal information in connection with this website, business communications, product evaluation, and services. It does not replace a customer's own privacy notice or a data processing agreement governing information NYR processes on a customer's instructions.

When a Signed Agreement or data processing agreement applies, that agreement controls if it conflicts with this policy for the covered processing.

Information NYR may collect

The information involved depends on how you interact with NYR and may include:

  • Information you provide: business contact details, company and role information, messages, scheduling details, and information submitted during product evaluation or support.
  • Website and device information: IP address, browser and device type, pages requested, timestamps, referring information, and diagnostic or security logs.
  • Service information: account, configuration, usage, support, and operational information associated with an organization's use of NYR services, as defined by the applicable agreement.
  • Information from business sources: professional information made available by your organization, partners, event organizers, or public business sources.

How information may be used

  • provide, secure, operate, maintain, and improve the website and services;
  • respond to questions, schedule meetings, evaluate potential engagements, and manage business relationships;
  • administer accounts, configurations, service operations, support, and customer-requested workflows;
  • detect misuse, investigate security events, protect rights, and comply with legal obligations; and
  • analyze website and service performance and develop NYR products, subject to applicable agreements and law.

How information may be shared

NYR may make personal information available to:

  • service providers supporting hosting, security, communications, scheduling, analytics, and business operations under appropriate restrictions;
  • a customer or partner organization when you interact with NYR on its behalf or direct NYR to make information available;
  • professional advisers, authorities, or other parties when reasonably necessary to protect rights, investigate misuse, or meet legal obligations; and
  • parties involved in a proposed or completed financing, reorganization, acquisition, merger, or transfer of business assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality measures.

Processing by subprocessors for customer services is governed by the applicable Signed Agreement and any incorporated data processing terms.

Cookies and similar technology

The website and embedded third-party services may use cookies, local storage, pixels, or similar technology for essential operation, preferences, security, diagnostics, and measurement. Browser settings may allow you to control some of these technologies, although disabling essential functions can affect how the website works. Embedded services may set technology under their own privacy notices.

Retention and security

NYR retains personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, to perform applicable agreements, and to meet legal, security, dispute-resolution, and recordkeeping needs. Retention for customer-controlled information may be set by a Signed Agreement.

NYR uses administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No system or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

International processing

Personal information may be processed in locations other than where it was collected when necessary to provide the website or services. Where required, NYR uses an appropriate legal mechanism for cross-border transfers. Customer-specific hosting, data location, and transfer requirements apply only as stated in a Signed Agreement.

Choices and privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability, or to withdraw consent. These rights can be subject to legal limits and verification. If NYR processes personal information on a customer's instructions, the request may need to be directed to that customer.

You may opt out of non-essential business communications by using the method included in the communication or by contacting NYR through the website.

Children

The website and services are designed for organizations and business users, not children. Do not submit personal information about a child through the website unless it is covered by an appropriate customer agreement and lawful processing instructions.

Policy updates

NYR may update this policy as its website, services, and practices develop or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date identifies the current version. Material changes affecting contracted services remain subject to the applicable Signed Agreement.
